Night out in Orlando: Go to the Tony 'n Tina Wedding Show

There are plenty of fun things to do in Orlando, both in the daytime and in the evening. If you are looking for a good night out why don't attend a raucous Italian wedding party. Well, you don't actually have to be invited or know someone, you can attend the Tony 'n Tina Wedding Show. 

This is one of the most popular dinner shows in the Orlando area. It is based on the hit off-Broadway show Tony 'n Tina's wedding. Like other dinner shows in Orlando, you get a full course meal (complete with wedding cake and a champagne toast) and enjoy watching a show all at the same time. 

However, it is not just a matter of watching the show, you are part of the show and the actors treat you as one of the guests of this comical wedding. 

The event begins with wild, unpredictable ceremony  and continues with an equally hilarious wedding reception. At the reception, you get to  enjoy a full Italian meal, raise a champagne toast, eat the wedding cake and dance the night away at the party. The show stars "Tina," the headstrong 20-something party girl bride with an attitude – and "Tony," the rowdy, handsome, yet charming groom-to-be. 

Other hilarious characters emerge from this quirky cast, which includes an entire wedding party of guests ranging from "Connie," the pregnant maid of honor, to "Father Mark," a priest who thinks he's hip. 

The show has been a hit in New York since the mid 1980's and is still running there. The press has heaped praise on the production, with the New York Daily News calling it "One of the most successful and imaginative hits in Off-Broadway history."  

So, if you like Italian food, comedy, dancing and a wild night out on the town, then reserve one of your evenings in Orlando for a visit to the Tony and Tina Theater. 

Performances are held at the new Tony and Tina Theater at Glo Lounge (next door to Wonderworks), 8967 International Drive. Performances will be Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm,  and feature authentic Italian food.
